Sanjay Nayyar, M.D.
Gastroenterologist
Dr. Nayyar has been in practice for 14 years. He was involved in teaching and guiding medical residents to become future doctors from 2008-17. From 2012-2017, he was a Program director for GI fellowship at Valley Hospital, Las Vegas.
Dr. Nayyar believes that his patients don’t just need physical treatment but also emotional healing, stating, “If you care for the patient the cure will also happen”. He is trained in advanced GI procedures like ERCP’s, enteral stents and EUS and likes to treat patients with Esophageal reflux disease, GI bleeding, Peptic ulcers, Liver disease, colitis and pancreatobiliary disease including cancer.

I'm happy with the prompt response of the office with scheduling of services. However, I am not satisfied with a follow-up of scheduling my colonoscopy. It's been two days with no response. Also, can I please get something for the pain!! This has been going on for months. I realize there is an opioid crisis in our country but, as you can tell by my scans and diagnosis. I have a major problem here! Please help me! PLEASE!!!!

We received excellent inpatient and outpatient medical care from Dr. Sanjay Nayyar and his team.
Dr. Sanjay Nayyar and all of the Nurses were very caring, before and after my procedure.
DHAT staff are the best. They are professional, caring and compassionate. The patient experience is wonderful. Dr. Nayyar is a very good physician. He is very thorough and takes his time. Communication is excellent and the appointment schedule and procedures are always convenient and prompt.
