Dr. Eidem was born and raised in rural Minnesota. He received his bachelor’s degree from North Dakota State University and then earned his medical degree from the University of Minnesota. He went on to complete both his internal medicine residency and gastroenterology fellowship at the University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio, TX. Dr. Eidem has been recognized with numerous awards for the compassionate and outstanding medical care of his patients.

Dr Eidem is just a no hassle kind of MD, which I desire in a MD. Would recommend highly.
Dr. Eidem is a very personable doctor and is genuinely concerned about his patient's health. He was willing to listen to me in detail, and at no point did I sense that my appointment was being rushed. If anything, he took extra time to assess my medical issue. I would certainly recommend Dr. Eidem to anyone looking for a gastroenterologist.
Dr Eidem is fantastic and makes you feel better and less stressed. He took time to explain the details of my situation and some lifestyle tips. Also, explained about the procedure clearly. He has very good personality. The procedure went good and not after effects. Highly recommend.
It was my first time meeting Dr. Eidem and he made me feel like I was hanging out with one of my Harley buds. Most importantly he reassured me that I need to go through with the colonoscopy.

Eidem has been my GI doctor for many years. Pretty office, good parking, kind and efficient staff. Dr. Eidem wants the best for me and he is smart and intuitive. His computer system lets us know exactly what meds are covered on my insurance and the best place to have my procedure. Great experience.

I have been driving 3 hours to see DR. Eidem and his staff for the last 6 years. He and his staff are professional, knowledgeable, kind, and care. If you need an endoscopy or colonoscopy, they make the procedures so fast and easy and keep you at ease. They started doing phone visits for me when I didn't need to be seen in person for an appointment which also helps a lot, but they are worth the drive when I need to go there in person.

He entered the room well prepared for my case. He presented my options in an easy to understand manner. He has a caring persona.
Dr. Eidem is very calm and collected doctor. He is incredibly professional and respectful. He listens and takes what you have to say seriously. He was my doctor for an endoscopy procedure. Now granted I am asleep. However I woke up feeling fine, and he was polite even when I was all messed up from the anesthesia. His partner in crime Deborah NP is also wonderful. She is very quirky but again professional. She listens and has already made me feel better then I have in 5 years. Even if my end goal is not reached I will know it’s not because of lack of skill or kindness. Good doctors are hard to come by and they are worth the chance. I give them both 5 stars.
Dr. Eidem has been my GI doc for the past 7 years. He has performed both of my endoscopies and colonoscopies (both procedures are done at the same time) that have been completed for proactive, preventative care. He always listens to my concerns, answers every question, and is very kind and calm. The surgical center he uses is amazing, quick and both procedures have been completely painless. I highly recommend Dr Eidem!

Dr Eidem is a wonderful doctor that pursues the basis of your condition until a diagnosis is found. He takes his time with you. I have been his patient since 2010. His ability to connect with his patients is truly remarkable. When other doctors found no problems he found real conditions that, with the same tests they found no problems or conditions.
