Elizabeth Odstrcil, M.D.
Gastroenterologist
Dr. Odstrcil’s clinical interests include small bowel enteroscopy and incorporating new technology into her medical practice. She is currently one of the principal investigators for two national clinical trials and has been involved in studies presented at national meetings. One of her passions includes teaching, and she leads the gastroenterology elective for medical students and residents at Baylor University Medical Center.

I had been dealing with some health issues, and after my labs came back abnormal, my primary care doctor told me it would be hard to get an appointment with a GI specialist, with most being booked out until February or March 2025. However, I called and spoke to Helena, who was an absolute lifesaver. After just a short conversation, she worked hard to get me seen the same day! She was patient, kind, and made sure I had all the information I needed. Everyone at the office, including Dr. O, was wonderful and accommodating. Thanks to their efforts, I was able to have an outpatient procedure just a few days later. I truly believe the Lord answered my prayers through these amazing people. If I could give more than five stars, I would!

I started seeing Dr. Odstricil in 2005 for IBS and GERD. Her and her nurse, Liz are like family to me! They are extremely knowledgeable, supportive, caring and relatable with impeccable bedside manners. Love me some them!!!

Dr Odstril's office was a very nice visit. Everyone was very nice, the office was clean and I did not have to wait a long time to be seen for my appointment. Dr Odstrcil was very nice and listen to my concerns. She did not rush me and talked about my concerns with me. Also she got my opinion on what I would like to do about my problem instead of just telling me to take certain meds. Thank you Dr Odstrcil for working with me.:-)

I made an appointment with Dr. Odstrcil after my long time GI physician retired. Due to unusual circumstances my first visit Dr. Odstrcil was a telemedicine visit. DR. ODSTRCIL has been very through in dealing with Nancy Blackburn stomach problems. I would recommend the Doctor in finding problems associated with various diseases in the stomach. She explains what she finds and her expert opinion on what she recommends.
