Eosinophilic Esophagitis (EoE)

A chronic inflammatory disease of the esophagus characterized by high levels of eosinophils (a type of immune system cell) in your esophagus. Symptoms typically include difficulty swallowing and often some chest discomfort or heartburn-like symptoms.
