Crohn’s Disease

A chronic inflammatory disease of the GI tract. It primarily affects the ileum (last part of the small intestines), colon, and rectum. It can cause ulcerations in the bowel and lead to complications such as bowel obstruction or perforation. Symptoms are typically abdominal pain, diarrhea, weight loss, and bleeding.
