Dr. Masand is a lifelong resident of Dallas, TX, which is where he was born and raised. He finished his undergraduate degree at Austin College and went on to medical school at the University of Texas Southwestern in Dallas. He also completed a residency and fellowship in a medical center in Dallas. His expertise includes advanced non-invasive endoscopic procedures, such as endoscopy and colonoscopy, and advanced biliary procedures, including ERCP.

Dr. Masand and his team are wonderful. They spend plenty of time allowing for questions and ensuring that whatever medication or recommendations they make result in improvement in my quality of life. I appreciated that while my recent symptoms didn’t REQUIRE a medical procedure (I had enough going on that I could have a procedure now or wait and see a while longer if symptoms resolved), they allowed me to make the ultimate decision on whether or not to proceed. I went ahead and had the procedure, and the findings might have just saved my life! Prior to the procedure and following it, Dr. Masand was caring and reassuring. I am thankful for such a wonderful physician!

I have a great experience with Dr.Masand. I had to wait a little while to get an appointment, but it was worth it. He spent a lot of time with me and asked a lot of questions. He talked through initial thoughts and next steps and then gave me an overview of what might come later on down the road. He was very knowledgeable and kind and Inwiuld definitely recommend him.
I always have a good experience at Digestive Health Associates. Lovely office surroundings and the entire office staff is friendly and efficient. The nurses and PA’s are knowledgeable and well trained. Dr Masand is an excellent doctor with a pleasing and patient manner. I always feel that he takes time to listen to my concerns and addresses each one thoroughly. I never feel rushed and never leave with unanswered questions. I highly recommend Dr. Masand to anyone who needs a gastroenterologist.
Easily one of the best doctors I've ever seen. He is extremely knowledgable, personable, and has excellent bedside manner.

Such easy access right off the tollroad, clean offices and all of the staff is very congenial. Great doctor who takes the time to explain away any questions or concerns. No reason to go anywhere else!
Dr. Masand and Michelle are the best. I have received excellent care. I feel safe in their hands. I know their best interest is my health. They have a wonderful team who I call with any questions and they are quick to reply. Care like this is not heard of now a day.

Dr. Amit Masand is very caring and kind towards his patients. He is highly experienced and skilled in all GI procedures. He does a thorough examination, diagnosis and prescribes optimal treatment. Highly recommend to anyone looking for an excellent GI doctor in DFW area.

Going to a digestive Dr can easily be a stressful visit, but from the time I made my appointment to getting my procedure to my follow up, I have had the best experience with Dr Marand, his office staff and surgery center staff. I went this week for my follow up and I’m doing so well that Dr Masand suggested that I don’t need to schedule another follow up unless I need something, but I insisted on following up in 6 months. I WANT to go and spend my money in this office.
Bottom line is, if you’re looking for a digestive disease Dr, you can not go wrong with Dr Masand and his team. 🤍
